AGC Glass Europe uses the worldwide unified Glass Configurator tool to create technical data sheets and product declarations. Glass Configurator offers the possibility of specifying a specific insulating glazing and thus obtaining the exact technical parameters of the product.

The Glass Identity system is a unique identification system that allows users to identify all AGC insulating glass manufactured after 2007. The information provided in the system includes the date when the glass was manufactured, the name of the insulating glass and the exact composition and dimensions of the glass. All this information can be useful, e.g. in the event of accidental breakage of the glass and subsequent replacement.

Pursuant to Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council, all manufacturers are obliged to mark their products with the CE marking. AGC Glass Europe uses the Glass Configurator tool for this purpose, where after selecting a specific type of glazing and creating a technical sheet, the final document Declaration of Performance (DoP) can be generated, thus declaring the product properties. This document is then used, e.g. to approve the building.

AGC Processing Teplice a.s. defines its business relations between individual plants and its customers in the document General Terms and Conditions. All orders, their confirmation, purchase contracts and services and, to the appropriate extent, price offers and calculations are governed by these General Terms and Conditions.

To assess defects in the glass and possible complaints, the document Product Quality Specifications was created. This document assesses possible defects and dimensional tolerances. All used information is taken from valid national or European standards or is specified on the basis of internal production rules of AGC Processing Teplice a.s.

A single warranty for insulating glass has been established for all AGC processing plants in Central Europe. The plants of AGC Processing Teplice a.s. warrant that under normal conditions of use of insulating glass supplied by AGC there will be no visible change for ten years from the date of glass production due to condensation on the glass surface inside the insulating unit resulting from a defect in the hermetic seal (excluding glass breakage).

The current building trend are large glass formats. Great emphasis is placed on the correct design of the composition of glass in insulating glazing as well as on the right installation of the entire structure. By respecting the Glazing Instructions, you ensure that glass is correctly installed and fulfils its technical properties. Read the Glazing Instructions carefully before installing glazing!

Glass is naturally a very durable and easy to maintain material. When following the cleaning instructions, you ensure that your glass stays clean and radiant for many years. The basic mission of the document Manufacturer's Instructions for Handling Glass is to establish, among others, principles for safe handling of glass and thus minimize the risk of accidents, near misses, operational accidents and other unexpected incidents. You find specific provisions for ensuring safe handling of glass in the attached document.
