ČKLOP organizes the Facades 2026 conference

The 19th annual national conference of the Czech Chamber of Lightweight Building Envelopes is entitled Facades 2026: Projects, materials, technologies.

The dynamic development of the field of lightweight building envelopes is based on new technologies, modern materials, and fundamental changes in the required parameters of LOP. Large windows, daylight, low energy losses, limited overheating in the summer months, and low LCA values are parameters that the speakers will attempt to explain, focusing on buildings such as the Vltava Philharmonic Hall and the extensive construction project in Smíchov.

Other lectures will focus on innovations in 3D concrete printing, building energy, fire safety, and a range of innovations in glazing.

AGC as a Gold Partner of the conference will contribute to the programme with a presentation New regulations for the design and dimensioning of glazing, in particular EN 19100, compared with current practices.
